FtHer Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of the Kingdom of Thailand ended her two-day tour of Manipur on Wednesday after attending the Manipur Sangai Festival.
During her stay in the state, the princess visited the historic Kangla along with Thailand Ambassador to India, Chutintorn Gongsakdi, officials of Royal Thai embassy, ministry of foreign affairs of Thailand, media team from Thailand and officials of ministry of external affairs, government of India.
On her arrival at the Kangla fort, the princess was received by state chief minister, N Biren Singh and titular king of Manipur, Leishemba Sajaoba along with some ministers.
She also visited Kangla Museum, Shri Shri Govindaji Temple and Ibudhou Pakhangba Temple.
Earlier, in the morning, the princess visited Keibul Lamjao National Park, the only floating park in the world.
The princess arrived in Imphal on a special flight on Tuesday evening. She along with state chief minister N Biren Singh and other dignitaries of Thailand and Manipur witnessed cultural evening of the ongoing Manipur Sangai Festival at Bhagyachandra Open Air Theatre (BOAT) on Tuesday night.
