Silchar, Feb 25: Binnakandi tea estate located in the Lakhipur sub division of Cachar has again been different and distinguished itself by extending financial incentives to its workers of Machhkhal, an out–garden, under special programme recently. The incentive was provided to 407 number of workers for their sincere and dedicated works. A special package of Rs. 4,38,300 was handed over to them on equal ratio by the manager, Sailesh Kumar Singh, in the presence of the commercial manager, Arun Kumar Sharma at a simple function held in the premises of the Binnakandie tea estate.
It was at the direction of H B Kanuria, director of Coviet Agro Industry, Satish Chandra Gupta, that the special package was provided to the workers. Earlier 11 other staff and sub staff of the garden were encouraged for their good performance. Sailesh Kumar Singh in his brief speech before the workers while thanking them for the performance said the management would offer such incentives if they kept up the momentum and tempo. Arun Kumar Sharma also said the management would come forward with further scheme for their benefits and exhorted them to work harder in the overall interest of all concerned attached to the tea estate.
