Nishant Singh Hazari, a shining star in Taekwondo, was extended a special invitation for felicitation.
Kh. Nishant Singh Hazari, a dedicated athlete whose remarkable contributions to the world of sports have brought immense pride to Assam, was honored at the event. This event, celebrated on September 3rd every year, pays tribute to the achievements of Sri Bhogeswar Baruah, the Gold Medalist in the 1966 Asiad and the first ‘Arjuna’ awardee from the region.
In a letter of invitation addressed to Kh. The ceremony took place on the evening of September 4th, 2023, at the Tarun Ram Phookan Indoor Hall, R. G. Baruah Sports Complex, Nehru Stadium, Guwahati, starting at 5:00 pm.
Kh. Nishant Singh Hazari is currently residing at Kalyani Nagar, Bhagaduttapur, Kahilipara, Dispur, Assam. He hails from SILCHAR Berakhal, Cachar. He is the son of Kh. Satyendra Singh Hazari and Neeta Devi. Nishant is a student in Class 12.
The felicitation primarily recognized his outstanding participation in the Asian Taekwondo Championships held in Jordan and Vietnam.
