The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Guwahati has announced the provisional selection results for various faculty positions at its Nursing College. Among the selected candidates is Leishungbam Iris Devi, who has been appointed as a Tutor (Clinical Instructor) under the OBC category.

Miss Leishungbam Iris Devi’s selection to this coveted position at the prestigious AIIMS Guwahati is a remarkable achievement. The Tutor (Clinical Instructor) role involves hands-on training and mentorship of nursing students.

“I am honored and excited to join the faculty at AIIMS Guwahati’s Nursing College,” said Leishungbam Iris Devi. “This is an incredible opportunity to contribute to the education and training of the next generation of nurses, who will play a vital role in healthcare delivery.”

Leishungbam Iris Devi holds a PhD in Psychiatric Nursing from Gauhati University, where her research focused on the effectiveness of a Nursing Intervention Package for adults with Substance Use Disorder. Her academic credentials and expertise have undoubtedly contributed to her selection for this prestigious role.

Miss L Iris Devi, who hails from Lakhipur Khuman in Cachar, Assam, is the daughter of Mr. Leishungbam Ibochou Singha and Mrs. Leishungbam Ongbi Manju Devi. 

Lakhipur Municipal Board Vice Chairman, L. Robindra Singha, expressed his happiness upon hearing about Miss Leishungbam Iris Devi’s achievement.
