The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Guwahati has released the provisional selection list for faculty positions in various disciplines at its Nursing College. Leishungbam Iris Devi has been selected as a Tutor (Clinical Instructor) under the OBC category.
It is a proud moment for Miss Leishungbam Iris Devi to be selected for this coveted position at the prestigious AIIMS Guwahati. Tutor (Clinical Instructor) is an important role, which involves training and mentoring nursing students.

Leishungbam Iris Devi completed her PhD in Psychiatric Nursing from Gauhati University, with research focusing on the effect of a Nursing Intervention Package among adults with Substance Use Disorder. Her academic qualifications and technical knowledge are said to have definitely influenced her appointment for this high-profile position.
Miss L Iris Devi is the daughter of Mr. Leishungbam Ibochou Singha and Mrs. Leishungbam Ongbi Manju Devi from Lakhipur Khuman, Cachar, Assam.
Lakhipur Municipal Board Vice Chairman L. Robindra Singha said that he was highly delighted to know about Miss Leishungbam Iris Devi’s success.
