Lakhipuronline Digital Desk : A 56-year-old man from Cachar, working under an MES contractor at the Leimakhong Army Camp in Kangpokpi district, Manipur, has been reported missing since November 25, 2024. The missing person, identified as Laishram Kamal, hails from Gossaipur in Udharbond constituency, Cachar district.
According to his wife, Laishram (O) Koijam Ningol Belarani, Kamal’s phone has been unreachable since 2 pm on November 25. She shared that her husband had been working in Manipur for the past 20 years and had shown no signs of concern prior to his disappearance.
In an emotional appeal, Belarani, who remains in Cachar with their son, urged the Manipur government to take immediate action to locate her husband. She expressed deep distress over his disappearance and pleaded for any assistance in finding him.
Local authorities are reportedly coordinating with police in Manipur to investigate the situation, though no updates have been provided as of now.
