World Meetei Council New Leadership

Lakhipuronline Digital Desk – The World Meetei Council (WMC) has officially announced the restructuring of its Manipur unit. As part of this transition, the previous team has been dissolved, and new office bearers have been appointed. This decision, made by the Central Executive Committee (CEC), came into effect on November 15, 2024, with the aim of improving organizational efficiency and furthering WMC’s mission to preserve and promote Meetei culture and heritage.

New Office Bearers

The newly appointed leadership team includes:

  • Secretary, Information and Publicity: Sanjram Joy Lairenjam (Nambol)
