
Lakhipuronline Digital Desk, March 22, 2025: The Mutum Leikai Youth Club, United North East Charitable Society, and Barak Eco-system and Water Governance Resource Centre, in collaboration with NEADS and the Inter Agency Group, Cachar, hosted a World Water Day celebration today at the Barak River Bank in Singerband, Mutum Leikai.
The event, which began at 10:00 AM, focused on addressing water scarcity, pollution, and environmental degradation related to climate change, aiming to promote the conservation of the Barak River and protect riverside communities from disasters.
