Grave Concerns Raised

Demands for Action

In a press release, CoCoCoM outlined a four-point demand to address the situation:

1. Intensified Search Operations: Immediate escalation of efforts to locate Mr. Singha, utilizing all available resources.

Appeal to Authorities

The committee has urged the Prime Minister, the Defence Minister, the Government of Manipur, and other concerned authorities to prioritize the case and ensure Mr. Singha is found and reunited with his family at the earliest.

Impact on Trust

CoCoCoM highlighted the unwavering support the Manipuri community has extended to the Indian Armed Forces over the years. However, they said that delays in resolving the matter could erode trust and confidence in the Army’s ability to provide security within its premises.

Solidarity with the Family

The organization also extended its heartfelt support to Mr. Singha’s family, pledging to stand united in their pursuit of justice and truth.

This troubling incident has sparked widespread concern, raising questions about security protocols within sensitive military establishments. Authorities are being urged to act swiftly to bring clarity and resolution to this distressing situation.
