Silchar’s Manipuri youth secures 7th position in APSC

Silchar, Nov 17:-  Exam results of combined competitive examination of 2016 conducted by the Assam Public Services Commission, APSC was declared late night of this Friday.
Amongst 95 civil service grade , Keisham Eshan Singh of Rongpur Barbhuiya lane, Silchar cracked the examination in 7th rank position.

Keisham Eshan Singh,  a software engineer by profession ,is a youngest son of Keisham Babu Singh and late Keisham(O) Chandrajini Devi of Rongpur Barbhuiya lane,Silchar in Cachar, originally hailing from Chingdongleikai,a Manipuri inhabitant village under Lakhipur subdivision of Cachar in Assam.

While talking  to this scribe, Eshan’s father Keisham Babu Singh, who is a retired Police Inspector in Meghalaya Police department ,said that he feel very proud of his son as his son’s achievement will help the society like Manipuri who does not have any elected public representative in Assam assembly and who have less numbers of executive officers.

He also said that his son’s ambition is not ended with the achievement but he have aspiration to crack in UPSC .

It can be noted that Keisham Eshan Singh topped in the Matriculation exam conducted by Meghalaya board in 2008.He also managed to topped in the higher secondary examination from St.Anthony College, Shillong in the year 2010.
Eshan did his engineering graduation from Birla Institute of Technical Sciences , Rajasthan.
He is now serving as software engineer in a multinational company in Bangalore.

All sections of Manipuri community of Assam including intellectuals brigades, youths and students leaders were conveyed their best wishes for Keisham Eshan.
They said that Manipuri Society of Assam got a new gems like Keisham Eshan and they feel very proud of it.
